The bad and good of fructose
Fructose can be good or bad for an athlete depending on when it's consumed. Fructose can help athletic performance when taken during exercise, but at other times excessive fructose can create health issues, including liver disease similar to alcoholism, chronic kidney disease, stroke, cardiovascular disease and mortality. http://fellrnr.com/wiki/Fructose

Minor update to VDOT Marathon Plans
I've corrected a minor mistake in my VDOT calculator. Week 20 of the Jack Daniel's Marathon Plan 'A' was set to 10 miles T when it should have been 10 miles E. This is an error in the early copies of the second edition of the book. Thanks to James B for pointing this out. http://fellrnr.com/wiki/VDOT_Calculator

Updated Massage Page
I've updated my page on massage to include more details and lots of extra pictures. As anyone who follows me on fitocracy knows, massage is a key part of my training program and without it I wouldn't be able to train anywhere near as much without being horribly injured. http://fellrnr.com/wiki/Massage

Updated page on taping blisters
I've made a major update to my page on taping blisters. I've been testing various tapes, added a photo inventory of supplies and created detailed instructions for taping different areas. Let me know what you think or if you have suggestions for improvements. I have added pictures to a few of the blister areas instructions (partly blistered toe, completely blistered toe, side of heel, under the ball) and I'd be interested to know if you think more pictures would help. http://fellrnr.com/wiki/Taping

CoolScuplting (and DIY CoolSculpting)
Can cold remove body fat? CoolSculpting does just that, chilling your skin to reduce body fat in the area treated. CoolSculpting appears effective, reducing surface fat by between 20% and 80% over the 3 months following treatment. However, it's expensive, so I found a way that mimics the approach at home for free. http://fellrnr.com/wiki/CoolSculpting
