The bad and good of fructose
Fructose can be good or bad for an athlete depending on when it's consumed. Fructose can help athletic performance when taken during exercise, but at other times excessive fructose can create health issues, including liver disease similar to alcoholism, chronic kidney disease, stroke, cardiovascular disease and mortality. http://fellrnr.com/wiki/Fructose
